Stupidly bunny hopped a kerb today at 30kmh and didn't get the rear high enough. Rear tyre hit the kerb and blew out instantly with a pinch flat. I've repaired the latex tube so will see how that lasts but does this tyre look done to you? I've used a park tool patch on the inside to help but there's a very very slight bulge where the damage is...

Damn that's a shame. Hope the wheel wasn't expensive.
My Veloflex Corsa EVO has the same damage (caused by rolling over a snail shell...). Would tire boot able to permanently fix it?

Booting will definitely get you home, but the problem with booting it is that there will most likely be a bulge due to the lack of intact cords, so wear will be faster at that point; the tyre will end up being thinner there. If you're using a tube you might get some extra mileage by doing this, but ultimately the solution is going to be a new tyre once you get sick of replacing the worn-through boot(s). Been there, done that.

Just type vulcanizing gluecin google.
