New wheelset mid depth

Hi dear friends,

I'm currently deciding for a 28mm tire between

Option 1:
50mm depth, 30 mm width at 1195gramm

Option 2:
Princeton style 45/50mm depth, 34mm width at 1235gramm, maybe 30/35mm front depth with 40gramm less

Can you please recommend me
Do you think, the 30mm width and 40 Gramm lighter rims are superior?
Do you think Princeton style is aerodynamical better with 34mm width and the special style, but 40gramm weight increase?
Do you think 30/35mm front could be better to decrease weight of 40gramm?

Please let me know your thoughts,

Most likely option 1 will be faster in a wind tunnel test. Option 2 *might* be more controllable in crosswind gusts. I would choose option 1, partly because I don't like the wavy aesthetic.

I'd run 30c tires on "option 2" TBH

We are missing few bits, a wheels goes way beyond the size and weight.
- what are the inner width? just to ensure the tire doesn't baloon beyond 30mm (bringing some x-wind instability if that is a problem where you live)
- are hubs and spokes the same on both? same spokes count? hidden nipples on any or none?
- what are those? that may significantly impact how the wheel behaves
- for the tinny weight difference, does both need rim-tape?

What are those wheel options with those rim specs and weight?
I've looked at various Chinese brands (EIE, BTLOS, LB, Farsports, Nextie) with no less than 30 external (to fit 28mm tyres) / 21...24 internal hooked, and 40...44mm depth, the lowest you could get (on paper) was usually 1250g or more WITH carbon spokes only.

What's out there with better specs what you have found, Casio20?
