@Byskov: Nice and clean. But those bars... what are they?

I just don’t like how the drops are angled so downwards, pointing to the ground. It’s clear you probably like a flat transition to the hoods but I’m not sure those bars are really intended to be set up that way. Versus having more of a ramp down to the hoods. Of course, personal preference trumps here. Are they a round cross section top, meaning can you rotate them to any angle you like without having and edge jamming into your hands? But if you did rotate them forward, I don’t know if you could set up your SRAM shifters the way you like. I don’t know... you must like the drops angled downwards like that?

Agree with Calnago in this, really nice build but the bars are “aesthetically” at the wrong angle.
If you’re happy with the position then it’s all good but they would generally be tipped over more.
Basic rule is the bottom of the drop roughly in line with the top tube.

I understand what you mean and I think I know why it ended up with that angle. It is a mix of the transition to the hoods, but also the fact that it is a little on the short side. The top of the bars are round yes.tarmackev wrote: ↑Sat Mar 23, 2019 3:31 pmAgree with Calnago in this, really nice build but the bars are “aesthetically” at the wrong angle.

I know the basic rule, but that is mainly an aesthetic thing, as you also illude to. I haven't had that many miles on it yet, so maybe I will change my mind after some more rides
Hi guys, I've built up a CAAD 10 Black Inc frame and the steerer tube spacer is too tall. I tried a shorter one from another bike but it seems to bind up a little.
Can someone please send me a link to a shallow headset top cap / steerer spacer that I could use? The current one is about 2.5cm tall.
Thanks.

Standard 5mm Cannondale one but there are others out there on eBay, slamthatstem etc https://qwertycycles.co.uk/products/can ... -cap-kp253Hawk16 wrote:Hi guys, I've built up a CAAD 10 Black Inc frame and the steerer tube spacer is too tall.
