I got exactly that frame, except mine's a 56cm. I use it on my Kickr but has brakes and ride outside occasionally, when my CAAD10 is out of action like now.

The only cable going though your top tube would be the rear brake cable...have you checked that?

I’ve left it back as I’m not 100% sure . Sooner than start messing around with it . It’s under warranty but the rattling is annoying as it was a solid rattle free bike before the upgrade .
I hate unexpected noise from my bikes . I’ve had problems before with Cannondale bikes with internal cable noise.

Thoughts on a possible project I might start soon. There's a CAAD 10 56cm frame (Gulf colourway) at the bike shop I work at (my boss is looking to sell the frame). Thinking of building it up from scratch. Just wanted to know if anyone on here had done any CAAD 10 builds from scratch. Wanna get ideas and feedback on what to change first and tips. Thanks!

Just received this 56 caad 10! Got it very cheap. Going to be built as winter/rain rig with full fenders! It has got a 24mm bb30 converter installed, but I need to get that out as I have a praxis turn zante chainset I want to install. Otherwise it’s going to have 10 speed 105, aksium wheels, 3t stem and a few other bits and pieces from the donor winter bike. I did think about a respray, but for now it’s just going to be like this with the mismatching fork and scratches. Hoping to hit around 8kg with fenders ect. ImageImageImage
