I am planning to run 1x10 gearing cause the Netherlands is pretty flat
Do you guys think it is possible to do this with a xtr di2 10 speed, derailleur and ordinary 10 speed di2 tt shifters?
I run a 1x10 gearing in The Netherlands as well
Took off the small chainring and FD, but the chain did drop once during a race, so will make a small chain catcher this winter.
Where are you located?

Ah, I live in the south.
I run a standard 53t Dura Ace chainring at the moment.

Sorry to hijack the thread but figured this is the best place to ask on the forum
I've seen a good deal on a Cervelo P2. Problem is it's a 58 and I'm 179cm tall with a 81cm inseam.
I really want to grab the bike but only if I can make it work. Is it just too big for me?
It'll be easier to slam I'm thinking but what are the downsides that'll trip me up.
EDIT: Nevermind, a few calls later has confirmed in no uncertain terms am I to touch a 58. I need a 54

Anyone has a navy/red Cervelo P2 frame?
Having a hard time telling if I like it/can live with it or not. Really odd colour way.
If I can live with it then there's a 54cm I can get.

I had one. Painted finish was very average but I had no issues with actual construction......
thats annoying me (62 kg body-weight!) a little bit. its the area, where carbon and aluminium meets.
as long as those cracks are purely cosmetical, just in the paint, no problem! i just hope, that the frame will not crack there structutrally sometime.
did yours have those cracks too? bmc told me its a well known problem with this frame, but just paint-cracks. i hope they are right!

...or even a 51, because the 54 has quite a long toptube! i am 173 and would choose P2 in 48.

Was surprised a bit at that, didn't know your TT machines were so stretched out compared to road bikes. Ordered a 54 anyway, found the nice grey colour I wanted. Just need to bling it out now. Hoping for some black Friday deals on eTap, Quarq and some TT cockpit.
TT cockpit I'm having trouble with a bit. Need a really good looking blacked out one that's super clean, but not £1000+

Newer cervelo's are nothing like as long as the older ones; theyre approx 3/4 of a size down in reach for something like the same stack as before.
Cockpit? piece of piss. dont blow all your money on new. Get on the timetrial forum and buy secondhand. Either USE Tula or R1, or 3TTT Ventus. Be prepared to chop and change extensions and arm rests. Avoid Brezza's- the pads and mounts are pants.
Oh and get a tririg front brake
Etap? monstrous mechs with batteries that have a habit of parting company on uk roads. Also hardly aero. Blip box needs to find somewhere to live too.
Di2 is easiest and cheapest.
