I put a 55 on my rig for the last two races and it felt great... so easy to keep pushing on the small, steady downhill sections. Looking at my Di2 data, I actually think I could've maybe run a 56. 65 is just CRAZY!

been 3-d printing some stuff via @waldo lately and kinda stoked at the new-ish setup. Probably the most modified dengfu base bar in the country? lmao

i dont even race TT (or road anymore) but this thing is fun to go to the coffee shops with

Would like some close ups of your bar/pad set up.

What have you printed? Looks fast.

looking fast is half the battle!

Started life as off the shelf ebay china bars, pdq deng fu whatevers
added a bunch of tower spacers
Printed Mount for etap junction placing it centre
Printed angle spacers spec 20 deg
-20mm or 25mm m5 pad compatible
-13mm of for aft adjustment bolting to the clamps
-The nut angle is appropriate for the pads, so no need to mess around with crooked bolts.
Reverse mounted USE 40 alloys
Blip Grips

@waldo who has been a great aquiantance these past years, helped to these into print, He's been a god send in anything to do with this bike.

Think thats the first time i've ever seen a neat eTap blip box install! other than the money its the one thing stopping me fitting it to my TT bike! Why cant SRAM come up with a neater solution that doesnt actually need cables!

haha thanks. i thought of how i could hide it, but not sure if it would have been possible with this old slice rs. I think the updated one had a space to hide DI2 junction. My goal for the bike really was to make it less ugly than it started!

Honestly... given the situation, no.
You’ve made the best of what you can there.

My only suggestion may be a set of one piece, ‘mono’ arm rests like mine. Image

That way you ‘may’ be able to hide the blip box behind it for a cleaner flow by having the blip box top mounted over the top of the extensions (as opposed to it effectively being under mounted at present)
