The Canyon love thread
Moderators: maxim809, Moderator Team
Hey, along the lines of a couple of other one make threads, how about a Canyon thread.........show us yours?
This is mine:
I've had it about 6 months now and am well pleased so far!
Canyon CF in 54
Shimano DA 7800 groupset
Shimano DA pedals
Spesh Toupe saddle
Thompson Elite seatpin
Syntace F119 stem
3T Rotundo pro bars
Training wheels or plain old Open pros on 7800 DA hubs, black comps 32/32h black prolock DT nips 3X all round.
Got a few deep sections for it too as soon as the weather improves?
Weight?......well I haven't weighed it but it's pretty light.
Cheers, Rob.

Thats bad ass man.........nice bike. It ride ok for you, is that the Roadlite?
Jeff, it's an Ultimate CF
I bought it just after the Tour when they were running a price reduction scheme?
I would have liked the EVO ideally but just couldn't justify the extra cost over......what is basically still an awesome frame and forks combo.
I'm just riding so much more than in previous years, a bikefit re-think and a change of saddle means I'm enjoying the riding more than I think I ever have done?
I suppose more riding time=fitter, thinner, faster and happier too.
It's taken me right back to the begining of my biking days, real enthusiasm.
Thanks for the kind words guys.
I'll stick some pics up with the deep sections on there later.

You mean something along the lines of this? ( My first road bike ) ( Sorry for the terrible image quality, just shot it with my mobile phone )
I will post mine when I get it.
7.4KG. 56cm. Centaur shifters and mechs. Mavic wheels. Planet X brakes and skewers. Love it, but only had about a month of riding on it last summer. Can't wait for this summer!
Very very tempted to rip off Farm Lim's de-badging of the stem - something to do when i get back form Uni... maybe. Also need to refine the position - the bars feel too high so a spacer or two will go on top.

this is mine! Don't mind the not so freshly washed bike and the hideous scenery, but i just got home and after the pic i placed the bike on the rollers in the basement for tomorrow... (not with those wheels offcourse!)
I have a lowered (non I lock) headset, otherwise i had to order a 56 and that would be too much of seatpin sticking out!
Rasmusic..........SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!
Maybe the best I've ever seen?

Yep, Rasmusic's bike is like it should be, racey and well built. Not saying others are bad, but a big drop, fast wheels always makes me happy
