Has anyone successfully exchanged an integrted bar-stem unit or are buyers relegated to purchasing a separate bar stem unit if they need a different size? Looking at an Endurace but would need diff. bar-stem (than the unit offered on my size).
I just went to have a look at a second hand H11 integrated stem/bar for sale here (my Ultimates both came with standard stem/bar). Didn't buy it in the end.

The guy told me that he had his new Ultimate for 10 days, decided he needed wider bars/longer stem and the local Canyon support refused to exchange it, saying he only had 7 days in which to do it. So he had to buy one from them. Not sure how true that is, but shameful if so!

I *think* you can ask for a different size on the order, someone mentioned it on a thread last year.
Worth asking canyon when you order, or even on their chat. (if i get a new road bike next year, i'll have to ask, if i get one of the bikes with an integrated set up, obviously budget dependant!)

I asked Canyon on their chat system the other day and they confirmed this, if you want a different sized handlebar then just let them know the details and they will manually configure the order in their system and send you an email link to fill in your payment details to finalise it

I asked about the H36 bars that come with the Aeroad and Canyon said it comes in 90/390, 100/390, 100/410, 110/410, 120/410, 120/430, 130/410 and 130/430 sizes, but the Endurance uses H31 bars and I think that comes in a different set of lengths/widths so you'd need to check with Canyon to make sure they have the combo you need

In Europe or at least here in Sweden you have 30 days to exchange cockpits/stems/handlebars for a different size. Unless your sales rep happens to be very friendly I don't think you're allowed to change to a different model though. Last I asked you also cannot have your desired sizes swapped in before delivery, as that'd be less efficient since bikes are typically not built to order but in standardized batches.

I called and the rep said I'd need to purchase a separate H31 @ $399 if the provided H31 didn't fit.

I mentioned something about spending $6k and expecting proper fit and a touch of leinency. But, he did say full 30 day return policy.

So they won't exchange your integrated bars for another size AT ALL?

That is what he said but I supect their CS is spotty. Get the right rep and you get a different answer.

I have not purchased the bike yet. Still not committed to it.

If you're in the USA, they will sell the handlebar separately.

I asked online, phone, and in person at the Canyon store. All said the same thing. The guy in the store mentioned in 1-2 years they should have the option when you buy the complete bike/frame.

Anyone know if US buyers get updated models like EU models and if so when? Endurace showing DA di2 and DT Swiss wheel options.

You can change the cockpit prior to ordering. But I found it too late . :?

You can send an email to info@canyon.com

Nice. I like the silver colour.

How tall are you and what's your saddle height?
