Rebuilt my Supersix with much less expensive parts. Got bored of all black as well. Might change the Cdale logo to white. Unsure yet. Sorry about the blurry photo

Slightly updated since last post. Switched the stem and bars to Zipp's due to better fit. I wanted a longer reach and the option of mounting TT-bars on the handlebar. Turned out perfect, the fit is perfect for me now, can do 6h+ with no problem. It just feels right.
I've also added Absolute Black Ovals, and I'm thrilled of the result. I bought me for improved climbing power and a smoother pedal stroke. It works so good. No more dead-spot, just constant pressure on the pedals. So good when doing long climbs.

Started off as a size 56 105 caad 12 8.6kg standard mavic askuims.
Now a full 9100 dura ace mechanical group set and pedals. 52/36 11/30. +4mm pedals .Zipp bars and stem. Falcrum wheels. 25mm Gp5000 tyres. C bear bb.
Just finished the phase 1 build and was after sub 8kg. So Happy with the weight . Still has standard seat and seatpost.so next few upgrades should be sub 7.5kgs. Sub 7 might be too far as I want to keep the full 9100 brakes etc. but maybe 7.25kg might be close....long term.
Weighs in at 7.711kgs

First bought the new 105 full bike with Mavic Aksiums in 2019. Been wanting Campy stuff since but could never pull the trigger because of a) the subpar riding conditions around me b) 105 does function flawlessly. Moved last month and FINALLY.
Special thanks to everyone who contributed to the glueing tubulars thread! Thanks to you guys, my first glue job went more smoothly than I thought was possible, and I'd never even changed a clincher tyre before. And to the fellas at Helen's Cycles Santa Monica - top notch service for really good prices.
In a moment of overwhelming joy I forgot to ask them to weigh the bike. My estimate is in the 7.5 kg range. It will drop ~150 grams when I put on Darimo seatpost and Selle Italia SLR Boost next month.

Thought I'd posted this here but apparently not - 2008 SystemSix, immaculate almost NOS frameset, with original ControlTech SystemSix stem, SRAM Red black edition 10spd group, and blacked out Rotor 3D24 cranks (it's a BSA BB version) wearing period-correct Zipp 202s tubbies:
Amazing bike, but it's for sale as the next project is calling...

Maybe should post my latest racebike here too. Waiting for warmer weather and dry asphalt

Wow, what a sharp looking SS Evo! Really like the accents and the fork paint job, subtle and catchy. I'm finally going back to RX4s, maybe I ought to have chosen a color other than black

A different build.
It's a pity that an Hollowgram cranckset can't be installed!
Thanks! I still have the bike, and I'm planning on turning it into a drop bar gravel monster with Ratio Mullet kit...
Here's a pic after finishing the 2022 Chequamegon MTB with completely cracked seat tube, fixed only with Fiber Fix tape. The frame has now been professionally repaired ad is as good as new.
