Washed my bike. Took a picture.
A nearly 10-year-old System Six (2008 model) I bought from this very site a couple years back. Amazing frame.

My CAAD. Only thing that has changed when I took this picture are the pedals. Currently riding some speedplays.
The bike handles great especially in crits, only minor is the weight, with the 105 it's 8,3 kg as shown.

Thanks, I actually prefer the esthetics of 9070 deraileurs to 9150, though i did upgrade the shifters to 9150 and they are awesome.

swapped tyres to Clement Stradas, swapped over saddle
plans are:
- fit spidering or replacement chainrings
- get some lightweight wheels as the Maddux on are very very heavy
- sort out annoyingly rattly rear brake hose
- titanium bottle cages
- lower stem etc
Isn't ever going to be a weight weenie but any weight I can shift on it will be a bonus
Hi, I've just got a CAAD12 disc too.
Which wheels did you go for and how did you get on with that rattly hose?
I cant believe the length of the original hoses / gear cables - they must be expecting everyone to fit 200mm stems.
I have a CAAD10 Black Inc Disc and to silence the rear brake cable rattling around in the frame I simply cut up an old lightweight inner tube, wrapped it around the cable and then fed it back into the frame. It was actually quite easy, I cant believe i put up with it for so long. No more annoying rattle every time i go over a bump!
Thanks Doug.
Next question - any advice on replacement stem cap? The OE one is a massive 25mm and I need to get lower. I've seen the 1mm ones (have one on my TT bike) but as this is my training bike that will go through UK winters it seems sensible to retail the internal seal to protect the bearing a bit?
Losing 15mm would suffice.

Stunning colour.
I picked up 2011 CAAD10 during the week to nicely compliment by 2016 6HM. I had most of the parts needed to build it up in stock from various bikes and bits accumulated over the last few years. Hoping to have it rolling in the next week or two, mainly on Chorus11.

Thanks! Funny enough, I have a matching CAAD9 to go with my 2016 HM
