2021 Giant TCR Advanced SL S size
Custom wheels with dt350 hubs
Sram Red Axs wthout pwer meter 48/35, 10-28
Sram 160mm rotor
Schwalbe Pro One
SqLab saddle
Giant Contact SLR integrated handlebar 110x420 with mount
Look Keo Carbon pedals
Burgh Bartape

7.3kg

Any idea why is my bike quite heavy on the full setup?
I would say that wheelset of yours is adding all the extra weight, how much does it weigh?? Do you have innertubes or sealant?
And do you really need 160mm rotors on a size S frame? i would go 140/140, or 160/140. Galfer centerlock rotors weigh 76gr each at 140mm.
The stock thru-axles are very heavy also, and the huge expander plug on your steerer tube doesn't help either.
Use small electrical insulation tape squares instead of the grommets that are plugging the unused holes, replace steel bolts with titanium or aluminium and cut them to size.

I was able to build my TCR down to 6,5Kg, albeit being a size large and a heavier cockpit than yours...
The stock TCR Advanced SL from 2021 ships with a very light wheelset, this is one of the ways the top range stock models come fairly light out of the factory.

Either way, very good looking bike, and that paint finish you have is a stunner. Hope it will keep you happy for long.

Clincher tubeless wheelset, 1210gr

Mcfk 25 road rims 24H
DT 180 EXP centerlock hubset
Sapim CX-ray spokes
Sapim alu nipples

Galfer Wave rotors, centerlock 160/140 (with shimano resin pads)

Only have around 600km's on the rotors, but i am quite happy with them, i can't tell/feel any difference between these and the Dura-Ace rotors tey replaced. well, except that they look way nicer than the shimano rotors, and way lighter for sure

Thanks Jones!

Now that i think of that, it was indeed a bit amateur of me to post that pic. i have a couple of pics on the 2021TCR thread though:
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=161064&start=885

But on the same amateurish note, those pics are a bit dark and grainy. i will try to produce a better pic tomorrow when the sun comes out.

the bike is fairly new and no official photoshoot was made... yet.

Haha! The most exotic items would probably be just the Ciamillo GSL Micro and the AX Leaf Saddle.

I think the CAAD and Allez are still respectable Alum frames.
