Yes, i have used 28mm Corsa's on a 2018 TCR Adv Sl rim brake. Not clearance issues at all!aug11x wrote: ↑Thu Apr 08, 2021 10:47 amHi
I have surfed a lot of pages here now, but still wondering; are there someone here who have 28mm tires on the 2018-2020 TCR with rim brakes? I am looking for a new frame, and both the new and the last TCR is on the list, but i need space for 28mm GP5k with 18mm rims.

I haven't really weighted it yet as i am waiting for the new dura ace 12sp groupset but it should be spot on 7kg by the excel chart. Take in consideration the wheels are clinchers C40 which are amazing but not that light!
That is simply one of the most beautiful TCRs I've seen. Great combination of gumwall and frame color.

Wow, did you replace the aluminium frame with one made from tissue paper? The only bikes I have heard of that light was where special builds were comissioned with the lightest parts sourced available on the planet. Had a Cervelo SLR SL (2008 Tour winner) at 7.3 kg. without pedals. Was used to a 9kg. bikes. First time down a fast hill at speed got such a fright I slammed on brakes but I got used to it. That was a PROPER Cervelo. Sold it due to to needing funds. Been crying ever since.
Not sure what model year this is. Friend of mine sold it to me back in 2015 and I didn't know anything about bikes hence the flat pedals. It's a mix of sram red and force components. One time I had it serviced, the mechanic told me that the cassette is a rare titanium model that has been discontinued. I had no idea and didn't care much until recently when caught the weight weenie aspect of cycling. 7.2kg as is with the ginormous comfort seat.
TCR SL rim w. Ultegra mechanical, pedals and wahoo mount. Size M frameset.
~7.1kg with nothing particularly weight saving: my hard-to-kill Farsports 38mm U shaped wheels, old ritchey 4-axis stem, Zipp Sl70 aero handlebar, Assioma Unos and Romin saddle.
The wheels, stem & saddle are placeholders so there is room to improve on weight. Not sure what my light options are for stem as I don't particularly enjoy how the ritchey fits with the giant spacers.
Only did abt 500km in a few rides on this setup, I was surprised by how confortable it is, a definite improvement on my Propel and from memory about on par with my old Canyon Ultimate (w. regular non-splitting seatpost).
