Love it! The Revolt is essentially a Defy with wider tire clearance. You can run it as a gravel bike or an endurance bike depending on the tire.

Love it! The Revolt is essentially a Defy with wider tire clearance. You can run it as a gravel bike or an endurance bike depending on the tire.

What is the frame weight?

Don't know the weight of the frame, but the bike as pictured with XTR pedals (305 grams), Bontrager XXX integrated bar (228 grams), Supacaz bottle cages (about 30 grams for the pair), Panaracer 43mm SK Gravelking tubeless tires (519 grams each), Giant saddle (205 grams), is 19.08-lbs. The wheels are Giant carbon and listed at 1620 grams for the pair. Set up as a road bike with 25mm tubeless tires and Speedplay Zero Titanium pedals weight comes down to the high 17-lbs range.

I have both of the 3 bikes.

The TCR is a bike focused on racing at 100%.

The Defy is a MONSTER! Stiff enough to race on it yet comfortable enough to long/multiple day rides. I have mine on 33mm mixed tires and this thing is a pleasure to ride.

The Revolt is the closest thing to a mtb bike on drop bars you can go really wide on it, my friend is riding 29x1.95 tires on his revolt and still have safe clearance.

It will depend on what you want from the bike. The Defy will always ride better on road than the Revolt and yet it can handle some (light light light) gravel and rough roads! If you keep the TCR and want a 100% gravel bike the Revolt is the way to go! Let me know if i can help somehow.

To be honest most of my riding is roads on the Essex / Suffolk border (English counties) which is a 50 miler on sunday mornings normally going up to bigger miles as the fitness comes.

But the roads are terrible nowadays for my bones.

I love the TCR still but in a position to get N+1

Wow! Best looking Defy, ever!

I bought a 2018 Giant TCR Advanced Pro 1 earlier this year. Took off the Ultegra R8000 group set, and used it to upgrade my 2016 CAAD12 105. Bought a Dura-Ace R9100 groupset for the TCR. I also switched wheels, and put the stock TCR wheels on my CAAD12. I bought 25mm 60mm deep aero wheels from a company in Beijing that were on the CAAD12. The wheels have aero spokes, DT Swiss 350 hubs, and were hand built by orders. I bought the wheels for $490. on sale from a company rep on Ebay, after reading a British newsgroup about the company. Very happy with the chance I took. High quality wheels. Saved a bundle.

That is indeed the sweetest Defy!

Could you please share details of how did you route the Di2 and brake cables with the Ernova?
I would like to go to a narrower bar on mine but the Di2 routing really makes life difficult as you have to go through the stem.

Thanks for any help!
