sans pedals got my nero c64 disco down to ~6.4 kilos would have went lighter but some of the light sh!t went to another project (scud 4.4 kg)

Hi Glasnago - I like the idea of the varia mounted on seat rails as opposed to around the seatpost (I am expecting an Art Decor C64 and don't fancy wrapping mounts and rubber bands around the post and having it leave marks). Which model Garmin seat rail mount did you get and where was it from?

Looks really great Perp! Just out of curiousity: how long did you have to wait for your V3RS? I ordered my C64 about 4 weeks ago so Iam interested in length of delivery...

The day after I ordered, Colnago shut down lol. Forgot the date, but in early March. Last week of May, the bike finally shipped. I also ordered online and had it shipped to Canada. It sat at customs for maybe 2 weeks before taking delivery last week. So if I took out Italy's lockdown, seemed to be 4 weeks?

a beautiful story ... in 1995 after a busy football career, I decided to switch to cycling, a sport that has always attracted me by the taste for effort and the feeling of freedom it provides.
I have a crush on a Colnago Elegant frame that a bicycle dealer still has in stock and which, by chance, is my size. It will be equipped with a Shimano 105 8-speed group to not explode a beginner's budget.

without knowing it I enter the big leagues with the privilege of riding on the legendary brand of clover.

he will be my faithful adventure companion for several years and will allow me to discover my few climbing skills at the famous Rominger Classic 1996 with a top 150 out of 4200 participants with a nice climb on Crans Montana.



at the beginning of 2000 it will be replaced by a magnificent CT1 and sold to the brother-in-law of a friend who lives 300 km from my home.For 15 years more news from the bike and in 2018 I learn that the bike no longer rides and sleeps at the bottom of a garage. I propose to buy it but the owner does not want to sell it ...
I still insist in 2019 but without more success, the situation seems to be blocked. At the beginning of 2020 I try a new approach by offering another bike in exchange and the owner finally accepts.

I find my 'Elegant' well asleep and very dusty but the frame is healthy and the chrome in good condition



there is a little disassembly, cleaning and lubrication work to give it life by also replacing the sheaths and cables to find a functional transmission as in the first days.
Case to follow ...
