^ Don’t worry, your bike looks better. I think the red special paint looks cheap, combining it with the chrome logo is just bad taste and the red derailleur cage is just ridiculous.

Beautiful black Colnago! Have you considered de-stickering the Zonda's? It's very easy to do (just peel slowly and the sticker will leave no residue).

Look at this beauty exposed in a LBS near me, sold at a bargain "cough cough"price of 8699€ (10 243 USD) instead of 13999€ (16 482 USD)

Unfortunately SRAM instead of anything for Campy...

The paintjob is awesome

Your bike looks ace mate - loving the retro look.

I was very torn (like agonised for months) over the red v blue art decor (I appreciate this post has some bespoke red, but it is in line with the candy apple tones of the art decor red) - the red bike in this post is stunning for sure, but I do agree it looks a little less good for having the SRAM and also I am really starting to feel more and more vindicated, in the looks dept for sure, about discs....just doesn't work for me when compared to rim brakes.

I actually kind of like that 'frozen' colorway. Its a Colnago, whats not to like? I am curious whether or not that bike was built with the SR9 stem :beerchug:

What is it about the red bike that makes some of us cringe? I don't think it's the colour - some will like it, some will not, but if the whole bike looked aesthetically pleasing then the cokour would not be problematic. Here's my view: 1) The cranks look like a cheap set of aftermarket mag wheels. 2) The red oversized jockey cage draws attention to an element that ought to be inconspicuous. 3) the colour-matched bottle cages are bit try-hard.

4) The shifters and derailleurs look huge (I know its supposed to be a very good gruppo but the bulkyness of it ruins it for me)

^ Great looking bike! I love how skinny the head tube looks when compared to modern bikes.

my CX1 of the year 2011. I kept it only a few months, it was a fighter plane but too much energy on 6h00 races
