I would love to get my rim brake 50h down to 5.9 kg. I think I can get THM crankset 50/34 instead of the current Chorus 48/32 to get down below 6kg. Might have to start trimming the steerer and spacers although don't want to lose the ability to move up as I get older.
Perhaps getting Time Trial tires at 23mm might help, but those are not too practical for my general riding purpose.

the chorus chainset is great but not too light. for a suggestion even the old 11sp sr chainset would save a lot of mass. i bought a 2nd hand one relatively cheap on fleabay for my master.sevencyclist wrote: ↑Sun Mar 19, 2023 5:40 amI would love to get my rim brake 50h down to 5.9 kg. Adjusted and rewrapped. Achieved slightly flatter transition from ramp to brifters. Might play a little bit more with rotation.

A good tip on setting up drop bars correctly is by making sure the end of the bar is perpendicular to the ground.
