The one from P-R 1998 with the mud still on it, that's about as cool as it gets.

The link makes me wonder if the C40 has the most Paris-Roubaix wins of any single bike model.

Thank you for this answer but I have a doubt, it seems to me that in 2003 the CT2 was in the catalog in B-STAY HP version

The beadboard/wainscoting is not bad either.

Not an expert by any means but do have some personal experience that may help. Got that self same CT1 frame ( with the self same paint job ) in 2003 ( and I'm pretty sure it was a current model at that time ).

And I believe the B-Stay HP was introduced in 2004 as part of new C50 and subsequently used on the CT2 which became the successor to the CT1. ( please note the grey frame shown above is a CT2 whereas the yellow frame is a CT1)

Btw the CT1 should be included in any best-bike-ever list....its simply superb....others are lighter...or faster...but this puts the biggest smile on my face ( and the Dream B-Stay stablemate from that era is understood to be in the same performance category )

Hello,

I am currently riding a Colnago Super in Saronni with a modern setup (Record 11, Campy neutron Ultra wheels, 3T carbon stem, seatpost and handlebar)

Well I am thinking of doing myself a present for the next decade ... or as long as my body can still ride ... and thinking of replacing the frame with a Colnago master ... in Saronni .. and a Bora One 35 wheelset.

Anyone can give me some feedback on what ride differences the new setup might have? Does it worth the investment ?

I am pretty sure it will keep speed a lot better ... how will it climb ?

Thanx for all

I have the master in modern set up and it rides fantastic I love it. It's better than my factor one in ride quality
But not quite as fast but still climbs well.
