hmm , 6 months sounds too much ... I am thinking now about our last order of still not presented C64 Disc "all internal" version , we got promise from Colnago to get bike in 4 months ( late September , early October ) and now I have to hope this will not develop into 6 or 8 months ...

To be fair if youve ordered a C64 disc then your at the mercy of when they even decide to release it.

We both just unfortunately ordered right at the wrong time. If we'd ordered C60's we'd have probably just had the order cancelled like my LBS had happen to a bike they ordered for the showroom.

As a general rule colango do actually get most bikes out within the 8-12 weeks they say.

Perhaps they're waiting to get enough orders to make the production run worthwhile. Or just want to fill the models most in demand first.
Colnago C64 - The Naked Build; Colnago C60 - PR99; Trek Koppenberg - Where Emonda and Domane Meet;
Unlinked Builds (searchable): Colnago C59 - 5 Years Later; Trek Emonda SL Campagnolo SR; Special Colnago EPQ

I've got info few months ago that they had problems with groupset availability and that was reason why there is some delay and those were Ultegra Di2 and Super R but who knows what is true ..

Do you have to buy it as a complete bike? I've never purchased a colnago as anything but frame only.

Yes , complete bike and our riders from our group ordered 4 Colnagos this year and we all ordered as a complete factory builds . Price was good for complete bike and there are several good options to choose and at the end guys are happy ...

Ok, didn’t even know you could order complete bikes (at least the C series) from Colnago. It’ll be worth the wait. Hang in there.

Winwave who supply them to the UK do some of the lower models as built models but I dont know if they build them themselves or they get them pre built. CR-S and A1R models I know come as ultegra and 105 spec

The 105 spec AC-R I bought in 2015 seemed to have been factory built. The build/QC sheet was in the box and all in Italian.

I think if I can order from here complete builds then it is available everywhere , in Europe at least and higher models too . For example few factory builds:
C64 Disc Camp. Super Record EPS Disc Camp. BORA ONE 35 DB Cl
C64 Sram RED E-Tap ZIPP 303 carbon Cl
C64 Shim. Dura Ace Di2 Meilenstein Cl
and many other options ..
the same for Concept and V2-R

Here in Thailand, some of the colourways are only available as complete build, for example the PLYL C60 came with SR EPS and Bora Ultra 50s with the shifters and crankset handpainted with the Italian flag from the factory , you couldn't order the frameset alone (or the rather pretty customised groupset).

Depends on the distributor in your region rather than any decision Colnago makes, surely?
