The last photos seem much worse.
No, this is not normal. I guess someone wanted to added some 'gold' paint on the engraved decals so he just got a gold permanent ink and... tried. This is not from factory, that's for sure.

Edit - I will not ask for a replacement. Weird but....I took a dry rag and polished the lug - and the crappy misplaced paint just went off. What's left is a perfectly decorated lug. I'm baffled.
I have another question though. Is it normal to not have a serial number stamped below the BB? There is just the size stamp.

It looks like someone just coloured it in with a temporary marker. Odd!filip00 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2019 12:56 pmEdit - I will not ask for a replacement. In any case it looks like an original frame and not a copy or something. All the details, lugs etc. are as they should be.
Can you weight it? It should weight less than 1700gr at this size.

Sound strange...7.3 is way too high for this built.DVR wrote:My recently finished build, not light (7.3) but nevertheless I'm happy.
My Colnago Concept (54s) is 7.45 with Sram etap and PM Quarq.
However your bike is stunning!

Low 7s is perfectly in line with what I've seen from fairly "stock" C60/64 electronic builds...seamaster76 wrote: ↑Sat May 11, 2019 8:21 pm

Quick question about tire clearance on newer Colnagos. The V2R and Concept both say they will take 28mm tires. Does that include 28mm tires that stretch out to 30mm?
V2r, rim brake version in 50s has approximately clearance of 35mm side to side. So you could fit 30mm width tire but in the rear you would probably get a lot of rub between tire and frame while out of the saddle. Also there is not much clearance for rear brake caliper to open so if you'd go with rims wider then 25mm it would be hard to set the rear brake.
