Never seen a bike looking so splendid with black saddle and tape.
Stem fits magnificently!

sastre, I think this sadlle would match the whole bike really well!

was thinking about one of these so you recon a black saddle and white tape
if someone can photoshop that would help. i will keep the stem and bar black to much white will look cheap.

I'm looking to buy a Colnago C59Nero, traditional geometry.
I've called and searched everywhere, the only C59Nero that I've found in this color is a 58T (radius: 250km)

I'm 182cm tall, saddleheight is 79cm.
Previous bike was a Cervélo 56 R3 2011.

In comparison:

Top tube length:
Cervélo56s: 564mm
Colnago58t: 565mm

Headtube:
Cervélo56s: 173mm
Colnago58t: 177mm (0degree stem would cover this I think?)

Seat tube length:
Cervélo 56slooping: 540mm (i've measured my warranted frame, effective seat tube, no stack)
Colnago58t: 580

What do you guys think? To buy or not to buy? I'm leaving for Italy next week so would really want to build this one ( otherwise i have to wait for 8 weeks, and that's end of season).

Much appreciated for the help.

Go for it. I am also 182cm - 79cm saddleheight and ride a 58 size Colnago.
I am sure you 'll love it!

Yeah, generally I don't like giving any size advice like this except for real general stuff but for what it's worth I am 185cm tall with a 91cm inseam and 803mm saddle height and find the 61 traditional fits me perfectly and handles the way I like too (i.e., even weight distribution with nothing too radical, there's never any surprises).

I'm 185 cm, 79.5 saddle height and 59 traditional works great for me so I think you'd be fine with 58 traditional. I only lasted two rides on an R3 because I found that it climbed well but was a lot more twitchy than my Colnagos. Enjoy it.

Hi everybody.
I´m new here at wheight weenies, but I follow this thread for quiot a while now.
Those clean and stylish bikes are beautiful. The italian paintsheem c59 of willy´s friend is
breathtaking. sastre´s c59 is searius as well. I like it with the ambrosio springtime classic
wheelset.
To kodiesan: I´m 183cm, 79,5 saddlehight. I ride a 58 traditional eps with a zero setback seatpost
and a 120mm 82° stem.
