I have EE DMs on my C64. The braking is awesome w/weight saving an added bonus...do it.

+1 on the EEs. I also have the C64 (same blue art decor colour also) and the EE brakes are simply amazing. EE have amazing customer care on top of all the other benefits (weight, braking capability, looks...). I am very impressed with them and will be a customer for life having used Dura Ace callipers to date. They're fine, but EE are best in class

Bought 2 of them : a C40 Mk3 and a C50 HP :

For the C40 there is a Campagnolo Chorus 10 speed group on it's way - it will have Campagnolo Electron wheels ( damn fine condition ). And the C50 will have the groupset from the Holdsworth and some Campagnolo Hyperon wheels.

Did a service on the rear hub and a new freewheel bearing was necessary. Luckely I had some bearings on stock so that was an ease job done. The rear hub feels a bit gritty despite new bearing balls - but that's to the cups and conus. They are still fine for another 10K miles.
