Here's mine in a rare state of clean, now on its sixth winter. Only early November but the weather has been shitty for so long now I can't actually remember the last time I rode any of my other bikes.

That's impressively clean and tidy for a winter bike in it's 6th year. I'm surprised you haven't been beaten by the urge to get a new bike! Looks great!

6.35kg all in. Although to be fair, my self imposed rules on what comprises suitable winter riding weather (no heavy rain, no temperatures below 3 degrees), mean that I'm usually just staring at it whilst killing myself on the turbo...

She needs some TLC this weekend. It has been absolutely filthy here for the past few weeks.

This is what I've used for past few winters. Haven't ridden it much in proper winter as I was lacking appropriate shoes etc but now have full set of winter apparel and ready for (almost) anything. Right now it's very mild winter with temps hovering slightly above 0 degrees celsius and no snow. Normally in January we would have -5 to -10 and 10+ cm of snow.
The bike is built on a cheap touring frame and does double duty as commuter. You can even see toddler seat mounting brackets attached. Recently have been thinking of converting it to drop bar 1x11. Currently running 1x10 with 11-32 cassette and it's plenty enough as it's flat as pancake where I live.

@Calnago, I am in a similar situation and going to try the zip ties! which fenders do you recommend for a tight fit. SKS Bluemels 35mm? I don't want to spend too much in case if it doesn't work they will end up in the bin...
At present I am struggling with the Cruds Mk3. They are awesome but the rear chain stays of my Cervelo R3 from 2009 are a bit too thin to get a good grip. The front works very well as the fork is bladed.

just repaired the seat tube of this 798 gram-stevens frame from 2011, so i can use it as winter bike. yes, i have fenders as well, but outdoor, i use it only on the nicer days, because, imo, its to good a bike to destroy it by muddy winter training.

so on not so nice days, i put it on the home trainer and switch to an old mtb for outdoor training.

Pretty sure that's an FSA Afterburner, so -12 degree.
