Really love this bike, albeit not being able to fit 25mm tyres on the front...

I have the opposite with my S3. 25mm on my wheels balloon up to 28 and rub the chainstay. Love the bike but not the clearance.

My only gripe with the S3 was the clearance. Big Gauges in the inside of the stays from my tyres. The S3 disc could be a good option though if the clearance is good.

So do you have pink/red bottles/bar tape for the Giro and Vuelta?

One of my favorite Cervelos, great looking S5

Dunno if this is the right thread; However, has anyone here ridden both the 2014-> S3 and S2? I'm contemplating on a replacement and can't decide which. I've read this thread on Slowtwitch, which basically says even the forks have similar qualities, just that the S3 fork uses higher modulus carbon.. Is there a comfort advantage to the S3 then for the 600¤ that seems to all be in the work and paint job?

I'd very much like a 2015 color-schemed S3 or the new? 2018 schemed S3.. The S2 looks a bit basic in my opinion.. I guess 600€ would also go a long way in paiting, while also voiding warranty. Easier just to buy a used 2015 frameset or something if i'd really get to it I guess.

There is no discernible difference between the 2 forks and although I'm not a veteran cyclist, I did notice a difference switching from a weight weenie stem to a stiffer stem so YMMV. The fork on the S3 is aesthetically different but performance is identical so really either way you go, it's the same bike.

Buying used would mean no warranty anyway so if you're willing to do that, maybe the S2 with a colour change is an option.
