Welcome to the Forum... I have those same wheels and am considering the exact upgrade as well. Should also make them significantly lighter.linsenity wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2020 7:49 pm
My cervelo r5 with dura ace 9150 group set and Enve 3.4 wheels. These Enve wheels are made for Cervelo with Formula hubs... quite loud and tempted to swap in DT180. Also need to change the stock GrandPrix to GP5000...
Otherwise really impressive bike, light, responsive and amazingly stiff.

I made a couple of changes recently, so I figure it's time for an updated photo.
I swapped out my P1's for a Quarq Dfour, and added a Black Inc integrated handlebar...very happy with the changes and, still, extremely happy with the bike.
I also ordered an Aspero, so it looks like I'll be having a pair of Cervelos, soon

Just ran in to this topic. This is my Cervelo S3 which I bought early last year and upgraded with some Zipp's and Etap during the winter. Ridden about ~10.000km on it since and absolutely love it (in part due to the time spend in the shed fixing all of the minor issues).
It raises a smile everytime I see it or grab it for a ride, which makes it easy to forget the niggles and cost.
Ps. My camera always makes it a bit pinkish, don't know why.

nice 1x
@Young, that's the nicest S5 I've seen so far! And with the blacked out chainring, you solved the most out of color part beautifully. Also liking your Garmin Varia(?) mounted on the saddle rather than the post .
What brand of chainring is that? Can you also get it in a 50t 2x11?

there's still a small gap. also with 110 ring you need to grind a small spot for the quarq bump lol.
thanks man.Ypuh wrote: ↑Thu Jul 16, 2020 8:04 am@Young, that's the nicest S5 I've seen so far! And with the blacked out chainring, you solved the most out of color part beautifully. Also liking your Garmin Varia(?) mounted on the saddle rather than the post .

yup varia. the stock mount is.... well I won't be using it lol.
it's garbaruk 1x ring. they do have 50t but not 2x options currently.
