Anyone here got this R-Series AXS?

Really struggling to find real photos of it!

https://www.sigmasports.com/item/Cervel ... -2020/OD0N

Thinking about going for it, but can't get info on weight and really not sure if this paintwork looks cheap in real life.

Something lame about it, but found one at a good price. So if it's light and is a fun, snappy ride then I could live with it. Saw this on Instagram.

Can't comment on the AXS model, but I had an R3 (2019 model, disc) and it's a pretty light frame...my 54 was under 900g, and the fork was ~350g (don't remember the exact weights. I also have an R5, and the paint work on both are high quality...if you are cool with black, then you won't have a problem with the paint.

Ride wise, it's very smooth but shows a good amount of life when you lay the power down, and handles well.
It's not as snappy as the R5, but overall, it's a fun bike.

Cheers jm, that sounds more than good enough for my needs right now, but for some reason I'm still hesitating. Not sure why

Can't help with the pictures of above colorway but I have essentially the same frame (R3) and I'm very happy with how it rides. Frame weight of mine (56 cm) was 897 grams and uncut fork 383 g. What I like about its geometry is that it's not super racy but also not full on endurance bike territory. Helps to get stem low even if you're not as flexible as pros :) My frame is on its 3rd season, albeit not many km's (a hair under 6000). No creaks or anything so far. My original build thread is here with more information and pictures: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=149347

What height are you siim? I'm 179cm (5ft 10.5inch), and usually go for 54cm frame, like with the older S5. Had a bit of toe overlap though. I tend to prefer a size down with longer stem.

I'm 180 cm. Used 56 on all my previous bikes (Boardman, Specialized Roubaix) as well. I just know that I'm not flexible enough to ride with lower stack of smaller frame (at least not without tower of spacers) so I've rather taken 56cm frame and reasonably sized 100mm stem.

I say, pull the trigger...you won't regret it.
Sizing wise, I'm 175cm, but am mostly legs -75.5cm saddle hight- and had a 54. If your saddle hight isn't much higher than that, then I think you'll be fine on with a 54.

Here is what mine looked like

And my R5, just because :D

Love that colour, I found a NOS Demo in my size (58cm) and it's on my way to me as I write. Looking forward to building it up. Hope it looks half as nice as yours.

Eh! Seriously what is that R5 colour! That looks incredible

I saw an Emerald green which I loved, but that was lighter and brighter. This is properly swank. Congrats!

Thanks! I freaking love the color...it's a limited edition that Cervelo did for some media events (or something like that), and only a few of them were made. Excel Sports had them for sale during Christmas.

The Emerald Green is really nice too, and they can be had for a really good price...might be the way to go, if you are like a ultra responsive frame.

My cervelo r5 with dura ace 9150 group set and Enve 3.4 wheels. These Enve wheels are made for Cervelo with Formula hubs... quite loud and tempted to swap in DT180. Also need to change the stock GrandPrix to GP5000...
Otherwise really impressive bike, light, responsive and amazingly stiff.
