its not really a gravel they lay chip seal on Pin Oak Rd in Sourlands,

This is hard pack gravel part of Montgomery Rd about 1.5 miles.

I guess it looked too good to be true! I haven't been down that way since the beginning of the year. The chip seal really tears up any tire. I've been on the hard pack before. Hope you're enjoying the off pavement rides!

I guess it looked too good to be true! I haven't been down that way since the beginning of the year. The chip seal really tears up any tire. I've been on the hard pack before. Hope you're enjoying the off pavement rides!

you know there's a nj gravel group on fb, they have rides every weekend that starts in Bedminister about 70-80% of the route is Gravel.

Yeah thx...seen that. Bedminister gravel doesn't excite me much. Alot of it reminds me of the Colombia Trail...wide gravel really for cars. The Gorge is more interesting but a bit more technical for a gravel bike, whereas a mtb may be better suited or a 2.1" knobby tire. I've been going out towards Blairstown NJ and by Tarrytown NY lately.

Damn she rides well smooth and corners like it's on rails. Just inspires confidence.

The seatpost was a labour of love being tuned by lucendi but we managed to basically cut the Weight in half.

Still need some boras and we may change out the very nice but heavy bar/stem combo to one of the EXS bar and stems to drop roughly 200gs.
