Ran across this picture today.....my old BMC SLX01. Still my "fastest" bike I've ever owned. Absolute rocket and fun to ride.

Saddle height is 83, saddle to bar length is likely around 64cm.

That's a 19cm head tube so it's not ridiculously short, but it was definitely on the aggressive side. I tend to run pretty steep drops due to my long limbs.....works for me.

on the teammachine pic I've had these cheap chinese wheels with novatecs for a few years now, soon to be replaced with 35mm/45mm light-bicycles with industry nine hubs

on the roadmachine pic only the rear is new, running shallow rims always looked a bit off to me but I didn't want to sacrifice the practicality of the shallow front when crosswinds over lake washington can get bit a crazy at times and this is supposed to be a weather bike

both run the same extralite hyperstem

Trying a new look, covered the red/blue highlights with black vinyl, handcut the logo with white as best I could. Didn't come out perfect but I figured no one will really notice when I'm moving anyway. Down to 8.155kg as pictured.
