not really. with 5,94 kg (w/out garmin) much heavier than yours. few minor weight savings will be done, when bottom bracket (change form rotor to bor, saving 25 gr) and tires (ca minus 30 gr by changing to conti competition) are worn out and need to be replaced. so, eventually, 5,89 kg , but thats it.

Since you're changing the BB, will you also get a Sram RED BB30 specific crank to save a bit more weight there? Saddle is another place I see about 70 grams waiting to be dropped.

no, did not plan something like that. the rotor-crankset is not the lightest, but very reliable and uncomplicated, i like that. and the antares is the result of a lot of testing of different saddles. its my absolute favorite. mine weighs 151 gr. not light, but imo still ok. an antares 00 would save a few more gram.

last little update for the first, i am expecting a 2018 lightweight urgestalt frameset, to replace the izalco max, after nearly 6 seasons on those frames.

but that does not mean anything, it already has been replaced by a cd super six evo himod, a ridley helium, and i always returned to the izalco, so lets see.

yes, i must admit to, possibly, be one of the most-penetrating izalco max fanboys on this board.

as said, i tried to change out of the izalco after some years, to find something new/different. i forgot to mention an addict i although rode for this reason. great frameset, but, like the others, did not do the job for me!:-).

i think the urgestalt should calm down this situation a little bit.

Anyone have a XXL/61cm Izalco Max? If so, what is the frame weight? Izalco's stack seems to be a bit more aggressive than similar bikes (e.g. Cannondale SS), so forced to the larger size, even though 58cm/XL reach is perfect.

Just found this thread. Guess I will participate. These are great bikes and aren't very common in my area.

Had this bike a while now and have ridden it hard. Have commitment issues with stem height, don't judge me... Or do, I could care less.

I live in the land of little elevation, so I have this set up to go fast on mostly flat terrain.

I crashed hard one time and ruined my front RAT axle, if anyone ever has to find a replacement, let me warn you, it is not easy.

Also.....I know.... It's a pretty unconventional position, but it's what works for me. Looks dumb...but just doesn't feel right when I have the hoods higher up. Oddly enough, I spend most of my time in the drops, so if I was on the predominately on the hoods, they would be higher.
