I recently tried to buy an Alp D’Huez disc brake for an on-line retailer and was told it’s a 16 week wait for a disc frameset!?

I bought one in UK, I first contacted Time and was in process of ordering but then placed the order via bicycle richmond. they gave me the lead time of 8 weeks for Scylon and it will be here tomorrow monday 4th of july nearly 10 weeks later. (lucky for me) the time distirbutor I contacted before ordering the bike already placed order once we confirmed my size, so by the time i placed the order with bicycle richmond the frames was already ordered.I bought frame only.

Bought in November last year but just now finally able to ride it.

Could be a tiny bit lighter at 7.5kg, but I'm not that light myself so it's going to be fine.

Alpe D'Huez 01, Ultegra R8150.

Hey guys!

Lovely thread! The Time bikes look amazing so I am going to build one myself :D
It's going to be a Alpe d'huez 21.

I am just wondering which frame size I should get.

I am 179cm tall and have inseam length of 84cm.

Any suggestions?

Thanks! :beerchug:

I can only tell you what size not to get I'm afraid.

I'm 1m85 & 88cm inside leg. I've got an RXR Ulteam size M and an Izon size L (I fall between sizes). So you probably need an S or smaller...

Yeh. It's also the final piece of the puzzle that I have been waiting for since I made the payment back in May. It should be arriving at my LBS today for assembly.

Time Alpe d huez 01, I have a problem with the titanium bolt (screw)that goes in the frame that holds the seat clamp, it was released from the frame and is loose, it is glued or has a metal insert, how is it fixed to the frame???

Finally joined club Time this past weekend.

It's a 2019 Scylon with the Aktiv fork.

Built up with Ultegra Di2 rim brakes, Easton EC70 carbon aero bars, and EA90 stem.
Wheels are custom built DT240s 54T ratchet with CX-Ray spokes.
Still need to change the saddle and bottle cages at some point.
