Anyone using a carbon one piece handlebar on their Ti frames? I will have brake cables exposed.
Completely don't need one but I like the look on my race bike but feel like it may look weird on a narrower profile metal frame?

Thank you! It's actually for sale now as frame module/complete bike if anyone is interested. Buying a new track bike and don't have room! Frame is 390mm reach and 540mm stack for the long and low boys

Nice bike! Did you weigh the frameset alone?guyc wrote: ↑Wed Oct 11, 2023 8:47 pmThis will be with me soon. Hopefully next week. Shop just sent me this as a tease..
Enigma Evoke Mk3. 56cm. It'll run Ultegra 12-speed Di2, Deda Superzero RS bar and stem, Superzero post. Deda SL4 wheels.
I've wanted Ti since I raced mountain bikes in the 90's and listed after Merlins. The time is right as I approach my mid-50's and I'm utterly bored with anything carbon coming out.

Stunning! I have a stainless steel X-Fire and am in the process of ordering a custom Mach Ti Gravel.Lemond75 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 01, 2023 12:08 pmHere's my Tommasini Mach Ti that I've had for just over a year now. Preferring the simplicity of rim brakes rather than disc, I've gone for quite a classic build, and am extremely happy with how it rides, offering a smoother ride than my stainless steel road bike, whilst being plenty stiff enough at the bottom bracket.
Can you comment on the feel of the Ti versus the stainless steel?
Also, anything about the weight? My X-fire (disc) is ~1700 grams and I am assuming the Ti will be similar.
Too many bikes, too little time.
Great wheels! What are they? Matte 3k finish?

Hi Hamm
Heretic is Marins own brand.
Love to see some pictures yours. Is it disc or rimbrake?

They’re 45mm Farsports Kaze rims in a 3K twill matte finish. Wish I opted for the texture brake track, purely to get that audible buzz when braking. Otherwise they’ve been going strong with plenty of time in the hills.gwhit wrote:Great wheels! What are they? Matte 3k finish?
