This will be with me soon. Hopefully next week. Shop just sent me this as a tease..
Enigma Evoke Mk3. 56cm. It'll run Ultegra 12-speed Di2, Deda Superzero RS bar and stem, Superzero post. Deda SL4 wheels.
I've wanted Ti since I raced mountain bikes in the 90's and listed after Merlins. The time is right as I approach my mid-50's and I'm utterly bored with anything carbon coming out.

Can we get a weight on the bike as-is?speedylumberjack wrote: ↑Wed Sep 13, 2023 5:11 pmDipping my toes into the Ti world, Blackheart Road Ti. Still dialing in the fit, but enjoying it so far. It's replacing an Allez Sprint disc as my travel/crit bike. Will be getting some shallower wheels in the future, but digging the simplicity and non-proprietary features of the frame & build.

It's as shown (except with the bottle of course) ~8.2kg/18.2lbs. The ENVEs are quite heavy, (my pair was over 1700g) and I don't enjoy them for most day-to-day riding. They're only really good for going fast and maintaining speed in a straight line, hence I have some shallow LightBicycle wheels on the way that should knock off half a kilo. That said I had these same wheels on an Allez Sprint disc and the ride quality is much better on the Road Ti. Will also look to swap the seatpost down the road to something a lighter since the stock one is kinda chunky.mb2243 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 18, 2023 1:43 amCan we get a weight on the bike as-is?speedylumberjack wrote: ↑Wed Sep 13, 2023 5:11 pmDipping my toes into the Ti world, Blackheart Road Ti. Overall very happy with the ride quality and build. The gearing is good for 95% of the rides I do. Excited to have a fairly future & bomb proof frame that should outlive my fit.
The main "quirk" I would say is make sure the hydraulic hose routing (and rear DI2 if needed) is sorted BEFORE bottom bracket install. The routing to the rear triangle is pretty tight around the BB if you didn't plan it out accordingly.
