Caad12 Mod. 2016 and now there is the Caad12 Mod. 2017.

I wonder for how many years the caad12 series is going to continue? The caad10 series has been around for many years...

What's the difference between the two other than paintschemes?

-Different seatpost diamenter (27.2-25.4)
-improved welding stuff
-new BB size (BB30 -BB30A)
-new one is lighter and stiffer
-different aluminium i believe
-slight difference in geo

Basically its what every manufacturer says about their latest line of bikes. For me,the Caad10 will always be my favourite bike. Having test each frame for some time before deciding which one to buy.

Are you sure you're not talking about difference between Caad 10 and Caad 12?

....the differences between Caad 10 and Caad 12 ;)

The question remains: Whats The differences between a Caad 12, 2016 model and the 2017 model.
As far as I know the smaller frames has slightly different geometry. And the paint options look great!

Again, are you sure you're not talking about the difference between Caad 10 and 12? AFAIK there's no difference between Caad 12 (2016) and Caad 12 (2017). And why would there be? If they redesigned the Caad 12, and made fundamental changes like different geometry and seatpost diameter, they would name it Caad 13 (or 14). And why would they redesign it just one year after presentation!!

This is one of the first reviews there was on the Caad 12. And it's written in 2015 and it's about a 2016 Caad 12. It says the seatpost diameter is 25.4 on the 2016 model. The Caad 10 has a 27.2 seatpost, but the Caad 12 never did.

@multebear. You're absolutely right.
Oh, it's all right. I'm sure that we can handle this situation maturely, just like the responsible adults that we are. Isn't that right, Mr... Poopy Pants?

I just purchased (ordered) a CAAD12 frameset , but it has not yet arrived. The colour is the same as the frame of @alexneumuller earlier in this thread.

I also ordered the Cannondale Save 25.4 seatpost for the bike, but the availability for it is in mid-December.

I bought mine complete. In hindsight, I would have rather gotten just the frame.

Unfortunately it's total crap, bad tolerances, lots of slippage, went back to the ugly Cannondale one :-(
