latest iteration... 7,7kg size 61
Nice - best color scheme ever.
Brakes: Juin Tech? How do they preform?
thx...
Juin tech GT brakes...find them decent for mech. operated hydros...no fading down the steepest hills...maybe just lacking that extra bit of brake power,
but so far (some 10.000km) i am really happy!

here my custom Allez Sprint 56cm
Nice work!
What's the weight?
Tight cassette... 11-23?
Weight with these is around 8,2kg, but it's the bike for flat road races. Casssette is an ultegra 25-11. Bike is mainly used for criteriums.

I picked up this mean machine a few weeks ago, Specialized Edition X1 - its only been ridden once, if the owner hadnt of told me, i would of said it was brand new. So lucky!
Looking to upgrade it to Red eTap 12 speed, 46T upfront and a 10-26 cassette, should be a blast to ride!

After many years of wanting one, i finally scratched the itch and bought myself an Allez S-Works! it came with the Roval CLX 40s which I'll use until I can find a decent set of CLX32s. Groupset is Ultegra 6800 which will all be sold on, bike is already totally stripped, ready for my next restomod project - will probably go SRAM eTap and Alpinist route...

Awesome come up! That bike has incredible bang for the buck. Mine was under 15 pounds with some 50's and DA9000

Agreed, the frame is 1095 gms which is impressive for ally, I reckon it may end up pretty close to 7kg with what I have planned.

Here's my previous restomod project, super proud of this one - the new rapide integrated bars finished it off a treat. I even bought a newer seatpost as those were more matt looking than the original one, just to match the bars closer. Devil is always in the detail!

Never got around to posting this here.
6.41kg and it's a 54cm.
I've sold it since but thinking about picking up a non S-Works frame to strip the paint and do a slightly less Weenie faux S-Works build again.

Awesome S-Works. Shame you got rid of it, but I'm sure you got something equally nice.
As someone that has stripped down a Non-SWorks to make a faux sworks, I firmly beleive that all of the DSW frames are the same.... I think that they'd get welded up and if there was any blemishes in the welds, then those would be designated as Non S-Works because they'd be painted. The "perfects" with no blemishes would be S-Works because they got anodized or simply clear coated so there'd be nothing to cover up the weld spots that were maybe not 100% in terms of beauty. My raw frame was within the window of what an SWorks frame was supposed to weigh. I then got an all black SWorks fork.

Anyone know about 28mm tyre clearance on the 2013-2015 DSW model (the pre-Sprint version)? Currently looking at one second-hand and wondering what the biggest tyres it can handle are.
It isn't really a question of frame clearance... its a question of brake caliper clearance. When I raced Battenkill back in 2016, I used 27mm Vittoria Open Pave tires... on the wheels I had, I think they actually measured 27.5. Most road bike calipers don't have a ton of clearance.
