Unfortunately, I am not an outstanding photographer.
Weight 6.85 kg with pedals, bottle cages and Garmin holder.
Looks lovely as far as I'm concerned. Quite light for a disc bike IMO.

Which BB did you fit in the end? Looking to fit Shimano cranks onto my Bond 2 when it arrives.

I've never used 3rd party BBs (only Shimano) so it's a bit of a minefield as to which to choose.

Thank you guys !!!

Dolomia is my 3rd bike from Cipollini. Now I have Bond 2 and Dolomia, both bikes are on brake discs. The Bond 2 is a lot of fun to drive. It is fast but it takes a moment for it to accelerate well, while Dolomia's advantage is its weight and you can feel it from the very beginning. It's a bit slower, but the stiffness and power response is immediate.

I have BB from Ceramicspeed on both bikes.

Thanks for the reply tomgru.

I'll post pics of mine once it's built... but sadly I don't have such posh running gear.

I'm building a rim brake bike, so there's a weight saving there. We'll see how much once I'm done with it. 👍

I bloody hope it's not a new Bond (or replacement) because mine arrives in a few weeks. 🙈

Frame is here.

Pink bits look more on the magenta side, which led me to believe that it's not quite Pantone 197c? Turns out it doesn't quite look right under artificial lighting - much better in daylight thankfully. Phew.

7.25kg fully built. Pics to follow (red saddle doesn't match).

Yes. Bond 2. Mycipo colours: GREY NARDÒ (PANTONE COOL GRAY 9C) & PINK (PANTONE 197C). Seems to only look accurate in natural light (other colours may look more true in different lighting conditions).

Was going to resist posting pics before it's finished but here it is (still undecided on bar/stem, and the saddle needs to be black).

Thanks! I'll have a look at the Berk saddle line. Looking for something that's not on the absolute limit of weight/strength tolerances.

Thinking another Deda stem, but not an ovalised one (top tube is quite square).

40cm bars instead of 38cm - just can't seem to get on with 38s, plus 40s will give me a 10% mechanical advantage over 38s which will help me control the 50mm wheels better. 👍

Hoping to do some miles all over Europe like I did with my last bike (dry miles though - my last bike suffered a bit from winter shenanigans!). So reliability on holiday is key.

"S" - 524mm effective top tube.

Could well have got a smaller frame but concerns about toe overlap, more relaxed steering geometry & less space for a rear bottle cage put me off. Also, there's a bigger market for a "S" compared to an "XS" frame.

Who knows, I might grow a few inches too. 😂

69cm.

As with all new bikes, it takes time to get the position right. Still getting there!

The seatpost is plenty long enough to accommodate longer legs, and you get a choice of inline/layback when ordering as you know.

The dealer ordered both seatposts from the supplier. I actually knew that I'd need the inline seatpost but I suppose it was good that if I was totally off, there was a layback seatpost at the shop too.

I was impressed - the dealer actually cared about bike fit. Well, that's a new one to me. 👍
