Yes, not UCI legal, fortunately in the USA almost no timed events require a UCI legal bike including this year's Master's National 4km and 1km events.
For the local TTs and for Strava hunting it's beyond unfair.

That's kinda how I feel w/ my AR1 when I have the CXR60s on, can't imagine an IA. Thing is ugly but probably the fastest production bike the world right now. Too bad everyone in Euroland are UCI sticklers for almost all TTs.

I actually like this bike very much. i got it because i had no money for a more expensive frame. But it rides very nice i think.

I love my Felt frame! I have a warranty issue that needs to be resolved and afterwards I will post pictures.

For lightweight junior gear options why not try a 40t narrow-wide single ring and 11-23 or 11-25t or 11-28t cassette depending on event elevation? Modern 25mm high performance tires should get you the same roll out as 52 x 14t.

messing around with chain rings always results in weird jumps in ratios. I have been trying to source some RECON 10speed stuff, with little luck. Saw on WW a forum from a while back with a 13-25/27 SL cassette, that went 13-15-16... If I get my hands on one of those guys, I'll use the machine shop at school to grind off the 13 and replace it with a 14.

@superdave

I want to ditch my double-bolt seatclamp, but i know you guys had some issues with cracking near the seatstays a couple years ago. Was the double bolt clamp introduced to address that issue? Is it safe to replace it with a lighter, single bolt option?
