This weekend I picked up my new steed - a 2014 Parlee Z-Zero. Only 50miles cycled so far but already I know it's the best bike I've ever cycled or owned. I'm a very happy chappy! Build spec below, and lots more pictures (and weights) to follow.

Total weight 6.4kg as shown, but that temporarily inlcudes Ultegra cassette and chain, and Enve skewers. Dura ace cassette and chain on order, and lightweight skewers already dropped in, so hoping for close to 6.3kg when finished. Also, temporary alloy headset spacers will be swapped for UD carbon.

Parlee z-zero (med) with internal di2 and brake cabling
Full DA9070 (inc polymer coated cables)
2014 ee brakes
Enve smart 3.4 tubs with ck hubs (limited edition from Cannondale black inc bike)
Veloflex Arenburg
Specialized Romin pro saddle
Arundel Mandible matt carbon (x2)
Enve stem, seat post and bars (custom painted black logos)
Fizik bar tape

6.4kg

I'd love to know that too. The reason I went for the Z-zero was that the Z5sli was unavailable in the lead up to the Altum release. Very pleased with how it turned out though, the detailing on the frame is really nice.

The ee brakes are good - strong and SUPER light, but will be interesting to give them a proper test on Alpine hills next summer!

Nice bike, but I am curious about something. Isn't this a full custom geometry bike? If so, why is the saddle mounted so far forward on a zero setback seatpost?

Two reasons - the saddle position isn't correct in the photo (photos provided by my LBS before collection, it looks much better now), and also this is a non-custom geometry (it's a standard Medium size), so the fit isn't perfect, but it's close enough!

Did you have it from Pedalling Dave??

Sure it cropped up on his facebook page last week, and i thought the set up was all wrong!
Explains a lot if its just been built

Paint is stupid. You can't scratch paint that isn't there.

Just back from hibernation, thought i'd add a few photos of my Parlee on it's maiden voyage this year.

Changes to note since last post are:

1. THM M3 crank
2. Fabric ALM saddle (looks off-centre, which annoys me, but is centred)
3. ENVE Garmin mount
4. New shoes! Gumwall Veloflex
5. Gold painted ee tabs (just because i'm vain)
6. SRAM Red 1190 casette
7. MCFK topper & expander
8. Shortened fork steer (and fewer, UD carbon spacers! )
9. Oh, and new ENVE seat post, following my last service as the LBS scratched the cr@p out of the original one in the bike stand! )

After 6 months on my Colnago C60 it was AMAZING to get back on to this thing...it's so plush and comfortable in comparison (but doesn't descend anyway near as well). Swings and roundabouts...
