The editor of Norwegian magazine Landevei is doing the Rapha Festive 500. As a twist he's starting each leg at midnight this year. Use Google Translate for the text or just enjoy the pictures:

Also doing Festive 500 in Thailand. Not as miserable weather as you guys but crosswind is getting crazy around here! Enjoy the photos.

@kjetil, that guy is a hard man. I was expecting snow honestly!

@ichobi, sawaat dee! Good to see the Thai riding... but don't complain about the weather LOL. Possible light snow/ice storm forecast here for Sunday evening...

Robbing a bank? I live in Illinois. It needs to get into the teens or lower before I consider a face mask.

Yesterday made a pilgrimage up to the City to check out the Rapha store then ride across the bridge.

knocked out ~160 km today with a decent amount of climbing up and down into Santa Cruz County. It was 4*C when I left my house in inland south bay area, CA, but warmed up to 19C.
:beerchug:

obligatory redwoods (albeit very young compared to the sequoia giants further east)

Santa Cruz County, CA. The county line actually runs almost right along the mountains near here.

Eureka Canyon, Corralitos, California. Safer but more painful going up than down. Still one of my favorite climbs in the area.

This is Monterey Bay, not SF. Santa Cruz is actually closer to Monterey than SF, but you don't notice it until you turn around.
