Good day.

My little contribution to this fantastic thread.
Did my first bike touring trip from Rijeka, Croatia to Kotor bay in Montenegro.
19 days on the road, island hopping along the Croatian coast to Montenegro and took the boat back to Rijeka from Dubrovnik.
1360 km total and a great experience.

Link to the album, couldn't be bothered to embed some photos directly. Sorry :)

Enjoy!

That Tiananmen mountan road looks insane and somewhat inspired by the Col dells Reis/Sa Calobra climb with that under/overpass thing..

Friday, mountain biking in my home town Bodø, Norway.

Routier, thank you. I'm glad you like it.
Yes, the scenes were really amazing along the way.
I didn't think that discovering my own country would be so much fun!

I'd heard rumours of a "Road to Nowhere" up in the North of the UAE so i dragged myself out of bed at 4 this morning and drove a couple of hours to a place called Jebel Jaiz.

There were once plans to build a ski station on top of the highest mountain in the UAE but those plans were put on hold by the financial crisis - but not before they'd started building the access road.
The result is an 18km climb at 5.5% with no cars and perfect tarmac
