I used generation one Bora and hyperon wheels with the 21.4 mm rim width for a few seasons with no memories of poor braking.
I've been using generation 2 Boras with the 24 mm rim width for few seasons and of course they have better braking.
Recently I tried the generation 1wheels and the braking was non-existent as in almost zero friction.
Careful cleaning of the rims and red pads with alcohol had no effect.
Have any of you experienced this and if so what was your solution? The old wheels are still in good shape but they are downright dangerous at this point. More like velocity modulators at best.
Thanks, Rick
