Currently have a pair of Mavic Cosmic Elites (alloy 30mm deep, 14c internal, 1770g, rim brake) on these I have 25c Michelin Power Cups, mounted with the 14c internal they measure 25.23 (probably will stretch out to 25.5 or so. These tires apparently work best with a narrow internal diameter.

I have considered upgrading my wheelset along with a few other odds and end to hold onto my Cervelo R2 for a while longer (I use it for road racing and summer group rides). I believe its max tire capacity is 28mm.

I am wondering if there are any rims or wheels (carbon and rim brake) out there that have a narrow internal and a 26-27c external width? I think something with a >19mm internal will make these 25c tires blow up to 28mm or more from what I have read so would like to find something with a 17c internal, carbon, 35-45mm in depth with a 26-27mm external... Maybe it doesn't exist and I should just stick with the wheel/tire combo I have until I upgrade my bike or will need to switch back to the slightly slower Turbo Cottons to run a 19c internal wheel.

To answer your question I don’t have any exemple in mind with those specs. Now are you looking for TLR or tube types?
If Tube-type a cup in 23 on a 19c/26+ external will be 25.1/25.3mm wide.
If TLR, Vittoria next exist in 24mm measured on a 17c rim. That will give you 25 on a 19mm internal.

Corima WS1 or WS+
16C with 26mm external width. 26mm Turbo Cotton and 26mm Pirelli Clincher and TLR measure true to their size.

The WS+ looks decent but a bit outside my budget, was looking more for something in the <$1500 range, like Hyper and Elites.

Change tires. Get some gp5k or Vittoria Corsa which are far better suited for modern rims. Don't know what where thinking those Michelin engineers
