I'm trying to figure out how to put back the new 6803 bearings in my old classic DTSwiss 240S rim brake front hub.

I'm thinking:
1) put one side 6803 bearing using my Wheels Manufacturing press and 6803 open bore adaptor.
2) install axle, and put second 6803 bearing, but press using the ... 17mm spacer :? ??

Please enlighten me :beerchug:

I use the old bearings as the spacer, and push both sides at the same time together with the axle for a better alignment. My hub is not 240 though.

This is how I pressed bearings into my Bontrager wheels with dt240 hubs. Plus any other hub where the axle has a flange on the inside of each bearing. Use the old bearing as a spacer to press in the new one.
