Claimed weight on the 2.3?
If they're hookless, only 21mm internal and the front rim is only 28mm deep, they better be lighter than Alpinist CLXs...

Depends if you want the option to run tubes.
Ugh. I assume they are also going hookless as the foundation series was already. I really don't like tubeless as I run latex and never flat anyways

And here is me saying to myself earlier i have spent enough on bikes for this year now(s works Torch, Darimo seatpost and Rhinos hangar in process), i want to get a faster set than my 4.5 ARs but today i got hit by some good 30mph gusts and pooped myself at 65km down a hill. You would think at 99KG i would be fine.

Very interested in tomorrow.

ordered 6.7
too bad no hub choices other then enve alloy at launch. ~1500g. 23 inner. 60/67 depth. perfect

new 4.5 look nice too... already have 4.5AR though
I'd rather sell the 4.5AR and get Zipp 353s. Which I might do.

Man those 6.7 are perfect.

I wonder if you can get close to 1400's with some DT Swiss 180's or Carbon Ti hubs?

The 6.7 will look the business. On the other hand, Enve's own testing (charts posted on cyclingtips article) seems to say that the aero performance is nigh on identical with 4.5 - it looks like abour 3/4 of a watt at 48kph and a negligible fraction of a watt at more realistic road speeds. I'd probably go with 4.5 for stability because that difference is just way too small.

Charts are also interesitng in that htey shows DT Swiss 62 at the same performance, while Bontrager is somehow quite a bit off. And the unfortunate (deliberate?) omission are the Roval Rapides.

From https://cyclingtips.com/2022/05/enve-ov ... -are-gone/ it seems Zipp 454 doesn't like wide tires, or maybe doesn't like Enve tires

indeed.. I plan to use the 6 as the front for a TT bike. Option to use the more aero 25mm tire as well, cant do that on 4.5. As they say...marginal gains.

I'm building up some 6.7s on Tactic TR-01 hubs.

6.7 rims are 83g give or take lighter than 5.6, and my 5.6s came in at 1,399g.

1,325g ish for some 60/67mm deep wheels will be good!
