I'm bulding a wheelset for a friend who bought his first disc bike. It's for road and he is 75 kg (165 lbs). He has decided on something around 50 mm deep and 25 mm wide and with DT240 hubs. He doesn't want them too wide. They are for fast rides and racing.

1) how many spokes for a wheelset like that? 24/24? Or could we go lower?

I've considered EIE carbon rims like these

2) Would they be a good choice for clincher and tubeless?

3) Anything else I need to consider?

Just get a pair of Farsports Kaze or Feder at wheelsfar.com if he is 80kg+ get 28h at the rear, otherwise 24h and cx-ray at ND and cx-sprint at the drive side.
