I found them very easy to fit and a good enough ride, but they remain the only tubeless tyres I've had such a bad puncture that I needed to fit a tube to get home.

Good tyres, I have both the previous version (black sidewalls, orange logo) and the newest one with tan sidewalls. The only gripe I have is they are quite sealant-thirsty before their air tightness reaches acceptable levels. I start off with 60ml per 25c tyre and keep adding until they start holding air overnight, probably 100ml per tyre in total, which is a lot. They don't sweat sealant, but are permeable to air and leak some through the rim-bead interface until every kink has been filled up. Maybe it's just my wheels though.

On one bike I'm using a pair of pro one tle from 2 or 3 years ago. They're lovely tyres, an industry reference, even. They have a very light and pleasant ride feel. I've never had issues with mounting or sealing them, and few to no punctures that I can remember. I don't think they're faster than GP5K but they feel nicer.

using the regular ones and the TT's. My favorite for now. I'd use corsa speed if they came in 28 tan wall though.

The current Pro One TLE is a good all-rounder / daily driver. ("Best" tires at this category in parans)

* Fast, but not the fastest (Conti GP5K and various TT tires)
* Good ride feel for a vulcanized tire (Vittoria Corsa, Challenge Strada Pro)
* Good dry grip (Vittoria Corsa, Goodyear Eagle F1)
* Good wet grip (Vittoria Corsa)
* Expected tread life (Conti GP5K)
* Easy to mount and seat (Hutchinson Fusion 5, Goodyear Eagle F1, Schwalbe Pro One)
* Air retention is average (Goodyear Eagle F1... <-- nothing else like it)

I also use the "TT" version and would not recommend them. I had something like 18 punctures in 8 weeks. All of them sealed, but they are way less durable than Vittoria Corsa Speeds.

So these are also less durable + the need a bit more sealant to keep pressure?
Hm, i don't like the reviews i've seen saying they need lots of sealant.

I don't think they need more sealant that the average tubeless tire. Ultimately a more permeable casing means more liquid and gas are seeping through. More frequent pumping exacerbates the issue by introducing drier air into the tire. Most tubeless tires probably lose around 2-3psi per day. The Pro Ones might lose a tiny bit more than that...it's hard to tell. It's definitely better than any of the "handmade" tubeless tires like the Vittoria, Challenge and Veloflex stuff. It's way, way worse than Goodyear because, again, there's nothing else like it. My Goodyears lost 2psi per week.

How's Goodyear compared to Pro One TLE talking grip?
Seems like these are also getting very various reviews :noidea:

Goodyear Eagle F1 dry grip, anecdotally I found damn good. I didn't notice any of the wet grip issues a couple others reported.

Im definitely a fan of the TLE's
I think they ride great, have excellent dry grip (cant say Ive pushed them in the wet, so cant comment on wet grip) and reasonable life
First set I had leak air like a sieve. No doubt they lost a LOT of air daily.
Dunking the wheel into a sink full of water showed a lot of air leaking out of the sidewalls and it did take a lot of effort to seal the side walls (laying wheels on the side and constantly rotating to seal the sidewalls fully)
Lastest tyre I bought did not have that problem. I dont know if Schwalbe corrected the issue, or if earlier tyres had a defect or if my latest tyre is just shear luck, but either way, I will take it!
I will say this though, they arent the easiest tyre to mount (DT swiss ARC 1400 dicut), so there isnt much chance of fitting a tube on the roadside with this combination, so Ive started carrying plugs instead of a tube
I wont be changing to a different tyre anytime soon, I love them!

The bad experiences are usually related to the old model, not the latest one.

I use 40ml per tyre and have no issues. Had two punctures on the rear I didnt even know I had till I was cleaning my bike the other day

Do you know when the "new" model was released?

Hi, I currently ride a couple of 28mm pro one tle’s in tubless setup on my alu disc racebike and just love ‘m. Fast, grippy and comfy tires.
