Thanks mate, your suggestion makes sense, I was more thinking of using 28mm during winter for my commutes to work, and swapping them out for 25mm for weekend longer rides.

Same here with a pair of Eurus. A month of rainy weather ruined the free hub bearings. Replaced with Phil bearings and no problem since.
