I would go with the Shamal due to the extra wide rim. Put some 32mm GP5K TL tires on them and run low pressures. You'll find yourself in heaven.

Thanks mate, your suggestion makes sense, I was more thinking of using 28mm during winter for my commutes to work, and swapping them out for 25mm for weekend longer rides.

However, I had to exchange the bearings of the freehub relatively quickly on both Fulcrum Quattros and the Zondas. They only used a seal on the outer side on both bearings. Apparently, water got in between the sleeve between both bearings and turned the grease in the freehub shell and the bearings bad. I'm hoping it'll be a long time before that happens again with some FAG bearings.

Same here with a pair of Eurus. A month of rainy weather ruined the free hub bearings. Replaced with Phil bearings and no problem since.
