It is not a *big* issue.
It is just not really a step up in terms of performance. The expectation was a "new Corsa Speed" with additional durability, and that wasn't delivered.
Also, I find it funny how 2W on tires are completely irrelevant, but 2W in weight are a big deal to most people on this forum.
I guess most people on this forum would agree, that 600g saving on a bike is a big deal (like 600g lighter wheels, or frame).
That's 2W saved on Alpe d'Huez, Passo dello Stelvio or Mont Ventoux:

As Robert Chung likes to say "Weight weenies should also be Crr weenies"...because additional rolling resistance is like always "climbing" a slightly steeper pitch

...and a logical extension is that we should be aero weenies too!

Weight would be the least important of those 3 to concentrate on.

For anyone in the UK trying to find some, Condor have 25mm in stock and high on bikes have 25, 30 and 32 in stock.
I'm trying to get hold of some 28s but no success....

How does that compare to 5000c's or 5000TL's? Have you measured them on a similar width wheel?

My 28mm TL on 25mm internal wheels measure around 31.5

My new 32s measure exactly the same width as the 32 TL I was running before. Before I mounted the tire I also compared the unmounted casing width and they are both identical (80-81mm depending on where you take the measurement).

FYI - 32mm measure 33,4mm @ ~ 60 psi on my Zipp 303s.

Got 5 black-sidewall 25mm tires today.

Weights with band, but not the paper documentation are: 254g, 254g, 254g, 252g, 252g. My scale doesn't do decimals, but not like it really matters.

Someone got unlucky.

I'm in the US but these are from bike-discount.de. They had many 25s and were low on 28s when I ordered about a week ago. They seem to be out of everything now.

The US distributor (Highway Two) hasn't shipped tires to any shops yet AFAIK.
