That's the problem... you've hogged all the supply.

Long term reviewKurt1980 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 15, 2022 4:03 amCan confirm after about 20 hours of inflation the following:
1. 25mm GP 5000s TR tyres
2. Mounted to I:19mm, E:26mm Farsports rims (actually measured at 26.3mm)
3. Inflated to 25.45mm @80 psi with 60mL of Stan's sealant
I'll do another check in a few days time to see if there's any significant change. Will post if there is.
Kurt
Use:
About 4000km.
Have used these on smooth roads, chip seal, dodgy roads with broken glass, a tiny bit of gravel, and my resistance trainer.
Current Condition:
Tread is still ok - decent life left in the amount of grip, but a quite a few nicks and cuts present.
Width is between 25.65 and 25.9mm.
Got a pretty nasty slice on the shoulder of the tread that Stan's couldn't seal past 40psi, but Orange Seal seems to be able to.
Grip is as per new. Caveat: I rarely slide out on road bikes, so I don't think I'm close to pushing grip to the limit.
Summary:
Durability is good, tread is a bit vulnerable but hasn't actually failed yet.
Grip is still as new.
Price is a bit much at times, although specials can be found.
Availability is not great, but that's a sign of the times, really.
For those of us with 26mm rims and who want to be 105 rule compliant, these fit the bill.
I would prefer a bit more weight to increase the durability/minimise the cuts.
Until someone makes or points me toward a better tyre (per my parameters), then this will be my tyre of choice.

Mine after 1500km also have quite a few nicks and cuts. This is just the front wheel:
I went on a gravel path once.

Nicks/cuts are pretty random. I ride in an urban environment and have some, but no more or fewer than other tires.
I wonder if you can fill in the nicks with ShoeGoo or use Crazy Glue to close up the gap. My older GP4000SII had similar nicks on crappy NJ roads.

Guessing it’s the exact same casing with a 1.8mm total thickness at the center tread?
