A friend asked me to build an Enduro MTB wheelset for him.
He swears by DTSwiss spokes as he says Sapim is a "roadies" brand  ...
Hubs are I9 Hydra Classic, with the Single Speed rear. He has a Zerode bike with the internal gear box.
I'm not sure what spoke model to use. Most of the wheels I see use DT Comps.
I'd be tempted to use Aerolites/Aerocomps, as I feel round spokes are always tougher to adjust once they're "jammed" after a few months/years of use, but I'm not the buyer here ...
What do you suggest ?

Aero versions are also much easier to build (hold to prevent twist) but they (Aero comps) jack up the price by ~80 euros. That goes to some 140 if you want Aerolites, but really not sure those would be good for enduro...

Both spokes are good.

Ask him if he has anything against bladed spokes.

If he's racing on a low spoke count wheel then maybe consider the comps.
