Hi there,

Can anybody give me an idea or some kind of inputs/reviews/feedbacks on these rims? How stiff are they? How good are they(if they are) in terms of quality if compare them to LB/Light Bicycle products? I haven't found any info anywhere on these rims. The main idea is to build a custom wheelset for my rim brake Allez Sprint.

https://www.retro-gression.com/collecti ... carbon-rim
"Our 50mm deep section carbon clincher rims have an outer width of 25mm, an ovalized U-shaped profile for increased rigidity and aerodynamics and are free from big obnoxious logos like most other carbon rims on the market.

These rims are made to our specifications by one of the leading manufacturers of high-quality carbon rims in the world, who also produces rims for several larger brands.

Available in 20, 24, 28 and 32h drillings."

• 700c clincher

• full UD carbon construction

• rim width: 25mm outside/16mm inside

• max tire size: 28mm

• ERD: 540mm

• max spoke tension: 110 kgf

• suitable for use with brakes (cork or rubber brake pads formulated specifically for use on carbon rims required)

• finish/color: satin UD carbon/black

• weight: 470g

Also lol "made to our specification". It seems to be an old design with very small internal width and probably basalt braking surface. Braking in wet conditions won't be good I assume. But I'm just guessing.
I'll second Aeo's oppinion to buy from an established chinese vendor.
