I just serviced my 2 year old CLXs. Mostly used in dry conditions and well looked after, serviced annually.
Mechanic said that front bearings are shot and need replacing. He said I should get some top quality steel bearings instead of this CeramicSpeed stuff.
Rear wheel are still fine, but inspect they will get the same treatment when the time comes.
I trust them as they have always treated me very well with honest advice.

Any thoughts?

Don't use ceramic bearings. In CS case they're ludicrously expensive. Any advantage they have over steel bearings they lose after 500km as they chew up the track they reside in, as ceramic is so much harder than steel. I'm told that the ones DT use in 180s are slightly better (about 800-1000km), due to special hardening of the steel, but still rapidly degenerate thereafter.

You can actually improve the wheels by going big brand steel. Reduce the play, keep the friction low for many more kilometers than those cs.

I'm pretty sure the Ceramic Speed bearings have a 4 year warranty in the Roval CLX wheels
